Downtown Phoenix Campus Recreation Center at the YMCA
Arizona State University’s Downtown campus, Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA and the City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation are committed to bringing the downtown community together through recreational sports activities that are competitive, safe and FUN!
All ASU students have unlimited access to the newly-renovated Lincoln Family YMCA, which is a short walk from the University Center Building at the Downtown Phoenix campus.
Services and ProgramsThe YMCA offers all new state-of-the-art exercise equipment and amenities, including new cardio machines, two weight rooms, indoor/outdoor pool, gym, fitness center, free-weight room, aerobics/dance studio, handball/racquetball courts, an outdoor running track, sauna/steam room, whirlpool/Jacuzzi, Teen/Youth Center, general purpose room, child care/preschool room and a computer room.
A variety of fitness classes are offered weekly, including Yoga, Boot Camp, Health and Fitness and Aquatics. Family, teen and childcare resources are also available, along with community development, arts and sports.
Intramurals
Intramural Sports activities are available on the Downtown Phoenix Campus. All students are eligible to participate in the intramural sports program. Intramural Sports activities will take place in the Lincoln Family YMCA, at University Park and in the Civic Space in the heart of campus.
To participate in Intramural Sports at the YMCA, you'll need to present your YMCA Membership Card. To receive your YMCA Membership Card, simply show your ASU Sun Card at the YMCA membership counter and you will get a YMCA membership card.

Access
As part of your tuition and fees, a $25 recreation fee is assessed each semester. This fee covers your membership at the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA. Just show your ASU Sun Card at the YMCA membership counter and you will get a YMCA membership card.
Note: this YMCA also participates in the AWAY Program.

Do I have to join the YCMA and how much does it cost?
ASU students join by showing their ASU Sun Card and having a YMCA membership card made. It’s all FREE!
