Scholarship Description The Helen Dyar King Scholarship was created by Ms. Helen Dyar King to encourage and reward members of or relating to public service. Ms. King's appreciation for the military stemmed from her first husband, Don Clark, who served in the Navy during World War II and is the basis for the designation of the Helen Dyar King fund for descendents of the military or police personnel.
