Cierra is a sophomore following her dream of teaching by majoring in early childhood education. From a young age, Cierra knew she wanted to attend ASU. "It's the only university I've ever been interested in," she said.

Major: Political Science
Hometown: Bakersfield, CA

Since her senior year in high school, Genevieve knew she would attend a university, because she plans to become a lawyer. She chose ASU to have the experience of a new community culture and felt that ASU was a great fit. One thing she especially likes about ASU is being able to interact directly with her professors during their office hours. She also participates in ASU Club Sports on the tennis team. "Club sports are a great way to play in your sports and have plenty of time to study," she said.

Hometown: Dewey, AZ

While growing up in a small town, Gideon had a big dream of attending a university.  Sometimes that dream seemed financially out of reach.  "I'm the first in my family to attend a university so I've always had the determination," Gideon said. "The only concern was whether or not we could afford it."
